**THE FOLLOWING PODCAST CONTAINS RETALIATION MOVIE SPOILERS. LISTENER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!** OK, no kidding around here. This podcast contains EXTREME GI Joe Retaliation spoilers. You will be warned at the beginning of the podcast and also within. Once you pass those, consider yourself warned. We do not want to hear anyone complain they heard spoilers here, especially after all the warnings. Your cries and complaints will fall on deaf ears. From herein, you are on your own. Justin and Gary are joined by friend of the program and promoter of Roll Out/Roll Call 3 Dave Tree. Dave had an awesome opportunity to catch a 10 minute screening of the upcoming GI Joe movie, Retaliation. Dave spends the next hour with us going into detail as to what he has seen, including surprises we have not heard as of yet and confirming rumors that have been long in circulation. However, that is ALL you are going to get in this description. If you want to hear and learn more, you need to listen to the show. GI Joe Retaliation, the sequel to 2009 film GI Joe Rise of Cobra, opens in the USA June 29, 2012 at a theater near you.

Episode 51: What's on JOE Mind?
Monday Apr 23, 2012
Monday Apr 23, 2012
As shows go, this was supposed to be a laid back one. Justin originally had the night off due to an IT project he had at work so we had an able bodied noted author ready to fill in for him. As it turned out, those IT plans went awre and a ton of news hit so it was quite helpful to have all hands on deck with this episode. In the first half of the show we are joined by our buddy Jay from CardedHeroes.com in a pre-recorded interview we had with artist Jeremy Dale. If the name is not familiar to you, as a Joe collector you should know his work from the 25th Anniversary comic 2-packs (ie Issue 21.5). Ironically, he's is from the same city as one of our sponsors, Kokomo Toys, so how could we NOT have him on, right? From the mailbag we discover Mike went to college with one of our listeners and holds a strong opinion of one supermodel Christy Brinkley. What does Mike have to say? Also from the mailbag, we toss around substitution ideas for the o-ring and disclose what 3 Joes we will rescue from a fire. Naturally, Chuck doesn't care about his Joes, so this should not surprise anyone. In the second half, we lead off with the news, and we FINALLY have good news from the club: Footloose is shipping! At the time of the recording, no one in the fandom got theirs, but SURE ENOUGH, a day after recording, they started showing up in GREAT BRITAIN of all places. Retaliation talk took up much of the remainder of the news with some spoiler free information leaking on some test screenings, Wave 1 Retaliation figures begin appearing literally right in Gary's backyard, a mystery black uniformed Cobra Commander sells for INSANE money on eBay (which later turns out to be part of the long talked about on this show - Amazon 4-pack), and some new single-carded Joes destined for "dollar stores" have the community abuzz after the limited articulation issues of the movie line. Wrapping up the program, Gary reveals he has "acquired" the Retaliation Ghost Hawk 2 jet and Retaliation HISS Tank. What does he have to say about these two large vehicles. JUST A REMINDER! For our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY show, our guest(s) will be YOU! By popular demand, we will be doing a "CALL IN" show. Here's how it will work: First, you gotta have Skype. If you don't have Skype, go to www.skype,com to download it. Second, we'd prefer you have some type of headset/microphone combo. Its not essential, but if we can't hear ya, it will be hard to record ya. Third, add chuckdawg1999 to your Skype contacts. Fourth, join us on Skype April 24th - THIS TUESDAY NIGHT at 9pm EASTERN. Contact Chuck to let him know you want on the show - and bring a good question or topic to talk about will ya, or Justin, Mike and I will resort to sports talk which will anger a bunch of people and you don't want that. Every 5th caller, gets a prize (and not some crummy figure you already have, but a GOOD prize)! In the meantime, if you have any questions, hit us up here or add us on Twitter: @GeneralsJoes, @chuckdawg1999, @Beachhead_WOJM and @garygodsoe Until then, enjoy Episode 51!

Not only do we talk about Joe with Brandon, but we hear about his experiences on the Highlander and Battlestar Galatica properties. Brandon also tells us about his new project, Shooter, set to launch April 19th. Don't miss it! Next we talked to Arune some more about the next couple of weeks which will be HUGE for Marvel, including the Avengers v. In the second half, we listen to your voicemail, which included some real zingers that you won't want to miss! All this plus your listener mail, GOOD news from the GIJCC's concerning their New Orleans con set and upcoming release dates from DIC. Episode 49: What's on JOE Mind?

IDW GI Joe and Snake Eyes artist Robert Atkins joins us again as we wrap up our coverage of Roll Out/Roll Call 3. We get his and Gary's final report (and priceless stories) about their time in the UK for the convention. We also talk to Robert about his current projects AND get his impressions of the RobotCon artist alley decision passed down by Fun Pub and Hasbro (note: this was later cleared up during the week). After our talk with Robert, we dip into the mailbag for some more IDW discussion , Mike makes sure he gets the credit for whispering MAILBAG into the microphone and we all give our thoughts how Retaliation will hold up during Week 2 in its battle with a rebooted Spider Man franchise. In the second half, friend of the show Shogi reviews the Action Force ATC (or APC as we called it). If you want ANY Action Force vehicle, this is certainly one to go after! In the news we discuss the new pics of the carded figures shown on the GIJCC webpage and reviews of the Cobra Troopers and GI Joe Troopers that have popped up around the community. Next, Justin does the Mypos (said MEE-pos) Dance of Joy (aka Happy Dance) over Renegades appearing on Netflix; which leads to us taking a few minutes to talk about the old ABC TV Show Perfect Strangers - hey, its better than sports talk, right? Rounding out the news we cover the new Joe Caunck newsletter featuring an interview of Gary, new news about the GIJCC's new website, AND an eBay auction offering up a piece of Joe history that never made it past the model stage. In a brief editorial, we address the fears of possible convention goers about using their credit cards with the club in lieu of the recent events with the club. You may be interested in the facts we have to tell you to ease your fears. It's a jammed packed episode full of Joe, comics, movies, convention debauchery, Mypos native dancing and May Day discussion - yeah, no kidding. All this and even Siri makes a special guest appearance. We're on the heels of #50 and our 1 year anniversary, so while you are hunting eggs this weekend, pass the time by taking in this extremely entertaining episode of WOJM!
