WOJM 2016 FFL Week 2 in Review

Oh yes, it is that time of year again. Some of you love it, some of you hate it, some of you listen to it and have no idea what we are talking about. Yes, it is Fantasy Football season. Don't worry Joe and Toy fans, we'll have regular episodes too, but for those of you who like a little sports (not sports ball - whoever coined that term I want to kick them...in their sport balls) mixed in with their "geekdom" (per say), then we're back. However, there is a team with a very very vague Joe reference.  If you can tell us the team AND to what it is referring to, we'll crack the vault and dip into the WOJM prize closet to end you a dust covered prize.  Once again it is Jamie and Gary joining our host and commish, Mike chairing the WOJM virtual sports desk.  So join us as we begin our 5th season of this nonsense!  Enjoy!

It's the Roll OutRoll Call episode.....only a month after it took place!! Dave, Eddie and Chrisdiscuss the busy weeks leading up to and following the show as well asreturning with File-O-Facts and the hilarious Male-Bag segment!! The boys arejoined by the lovely Kate Kirkwood, famous for that incredible 12-inchRoboskull custom, the crazy talented Boss Fight members, Erik & CatrinaArana (broadcasting from a car no less) and of course the awesome Gary Godsoe,as we delve into what was a wonderful weekend with amazing friends!! Oh yeah, and Justin Bell has the news........FULL FORCE!!!!!

Looking over our shoulders at JoeCon and with Roll Out Roll Call just around the corner, we join Gary Godsoe and Erik Arana to discuss both shows in hilariously intimate detail!! Justin Bell brings us all the news and modern toy reviews courtesy of General's Joes and Chris gets a royal grilling from Eddie about his JoeCon experience!! We end this one with an epic shout out list but we are pretty positive we missed a ton of people out and apologize profusely in an attempt to remain friends!! Thanks to everyone for making JoeCon 2016 an absolute pleasure to attend and thank the Heavens we have two more years of it left!! See you at Roll Out Roll Call 2016 or failing that, frickin' DISNEY WORLD.......FULL FORCE!!!

It's our 50th Special Edition!  So this was supposed to be the recording of the last ever panel at JoeCon. Well, after the Hasbro panel on Saturday, EVERYTHING changed! So instead of turning out the lights, we're going to see you next year! Mike Irizarry hosts and is joined by Joe "Coin Flip" Colton, Chris "ROM" McLeod, Dave "My Hair IS Combed" Tree, and a voiceless (yet extremely smug) Gary Godsoe.  They get a chance to talk to Brian Savage on how the new two year deal with Hasbro materialized and how Orlando quickly took shape.  We also hear from Fub Pub's Lanny Latham and we present a special award to Noted Author James Kavanaugh.  Since Gary had no voice, he was our roving mic for some Q&A with the audience.  The attendees had some great questions including our thought on how the #savegijoe campaign may have helped (or not helped) Hasbro's decision to extend the contract with Fun Pub for another two years.  Lastly, what live show isn't complete without a visual gag, in an homage to the Colts-Broncos 1988 Halloween Monday Night Football Game, all of the hosts were equipped with Justin Bell masks!

Hey, no one said it was going to be pretty!

There may be only TWO more JoeCon's left, so don't miss your chance!  We better see you next year in Orlando!!

Enjoy!
Mike and Dave find a quiet spot during Saturday evening's events to briefly talk about the news of Saturday AND to reveal the Roll Out Roll Call Exclusives (special thanks to Fun Publications!). Pete Sinclair drives by to say hi!

The gang get a chance to talk to Hasbro's Derryl DePriest and Mark Weber following the events of Saturday. It's an informative interview, so stick around!  You won't want to miss this!

The gang gathers around the recorder once more to wrap up the events of the week to Friday evening thus far.

The gang report on the happenings of JoeCon week leading up to mid-day Friday.

It is our yearly "live" night-before-we-travel-to-JoeCon-episode!  Joining us for a quick interview is Jason Bienvenu to talk about his Animal Warriors of The Kingdom Kickstarter campaign.  He's a Joe fan and wants to share his action figure passion with the world.  After we part with Jason, we talk about the Joes of 2005, Joe tries to set up Mike with her friend Maggie, we go over the complete JoeCon schedule with friend Jim Beutel (from Animal Planet's "When Animals Bang"...), Noted Author James Kavanaugh drops a wrestling-style promo on Joe announcing his intentions to take back the JoeCon cosplay title before retiring the belt for life and we give our commentary on what we expect at the Hasbro and Club roundtables.

Be sure to join us THIS Sunday from 1:00p to 1:50p for our Live JoeCon panel.  We will turn out the lights on the convention.  Will Mike channel his inner Don Meredith and sing "Turn out the Lights"?

Will James win?  Will Mike actually talk to a woman?  Will there be a JoeCon in 2017?  Answers to these questions and more will be this week.  Join us for the speculation!

Reminder, this is our quick and dirty episode.  A minimal effort was put into editing of this.  If it sounds bad, now you know how much work Gary puts into editing.  ;)

Enjoy!!
We talk about the Joes from 2004, catch up on the news, begin to set the table of what will happen at JoeCon...and generally get side tracked - A LOT.  Download it now and listen to it on your way to JoeCon!

Speaking of JoeCon, be sure to catch Mike, Gary, Joe and Chris McLeod from the Full Force at our JoeCon panel on Sunday, June 19th at 1:00.  It will be the last ever panel at JoeCon. Join us as we turn out the lights...forever (maybe, maybe not, we will see - we're looking at you Hasbro!) ;-)

It's that time again!! The Full Force boys are back with a brand new episode filled with all the things you have come to expect....ooer!! Packed with innuendo laced material, much like that previous sentence, news brought to you by Justin Bell at General's Joes and WOJM and as up to date as one can manage when having to edit hours of Dave Tree. A classic figure review of Jammer to commemorate his FSS 4 appearance, modern reviews by Justin Bell and an interview with Jim Beard and that pesky Justin Bell again as they discuss their upcoming 'Joy of Joe' book project and other cool things!! On top of that we continue with our new 'Male Bag' segment, the smallest 'What We Got In' ever and a brand new game called 'File-O-Facts'!! What could that be? There's only one way to find out......FULL FORCE!!!

It's the Christmas in...May edition! Yes, yes, this is another one of those episodes we recorded months ago and are just now getting around to finish editing and posting it.  In this episode, we have a hearty discussion about the Joes from 2003.  In the news we spend a lot of time talking with Justin about working with Hasbro for the Fan's Choice Kindle World's Character voting process.  Justin also asks Joe about her pie.  Yes, it is the truth.  It's a little more than 90 minutes of fun, so have fun listening!

The gang reviews the current state of the #saveGIJoe campaign, related news items to the possible future of JoeCon and Hasbro Properties, and a review of the club news from BotCon.

Remember, if you haven't signed the petition yet (yes, it is still a thing!) we ask you to sign now.  We still need your support!  Here are a trio of very important sites you should know.  Sign the petition now, join the campaign today!

What's big, stripy and dangerous? Yes that's right, Zebra Force.......I mean Tiger Force!! Join Dave, Eddie, and Chris as they look at the European Exclusive Tiger Force team in the Figure Review and From the Vault, Justin Bell from What's On Joe Mind gives us reviews on the latest FSS 4 figures and the HACKS Amazon and Ultimate Spartan exclusives from Boss Fight Studio, as well as the news courtesy of General's Joes. We have an awesome competition where one lucky listener could win two exclusive custom made Full Force t-shirts from new sponsor, Dead Gent Clothing. Listen to the show for the details. To top it all off we have a new mailbag segment, which is arguably the funniest thing we've ever done, but that isn't difficult!! Get involved and enjoy this Tiger themed episode in it's entirety.......FULL TIGER FORCE FORCE!!

It's the annual reading of the JoeCon Brochure. Gather 'round the fire kids, as Uncle Justin reads the Brochure.  We'll talk all things JoeCon...and some non-JoeCon things as well.  Enjoy!
This whole episode will speak for itself.  New 4th chair, Joe Colton officially joins the rotation!  Zack Hoffman and Brian Cummings join us to talk about JoeCon 2015 in our first ever double-interview.  None of this episode is timely - AT ALL, but we hope you enjoy it nevertheless.  We have two more shows in the "can" that we will be working on in the coming weeks.  So, something to look forward to.  In the meantime, help the #savegijoe campaign and sign the petition by going to www.savegijoe.org or https://www.change.org/p/hasbro-save-gi-joe.

Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding during our "hiatus."  It has been a busy year-of-change for all of the hosts.
I bet you didn't think they would last this long!! Series 3 comes flying in with tons of news from Justin Bell, Sgt. Slammer gets highlighted in both the figure review and in Boss Fight Builds courtesy of Erik Arana and we have a new segment entitled, 'General's Joe and Tell'!! It's full of beans this one so sit back, relax and then do the opposite of that as you listen to three men with serious issues!! Oh and there's a new theme tune......FULL FORCE!!!

After a number of failed attempts at either recording or just getting people together for the recording, we have finally managed to successfully complete this latest special episode. Dave, Eddie and Chris are joined by card art and comic artist, Adam Riches as well as Andrew Franks and Erik Arana from Boss Fight Studio, to battle through the UK re-dubbed animated 1987 G.I. Joe movie!! Simply titled, Action Force The Movie, we provide an alternative commentary that you won't find on any DVD extra! Probably for the better. Feel free to watch the original movie along with us and enjoy the constant analysis and systematic demolition of the storyline! It's really all about the incredibly awesome overdubs in any case...........FULL FORCE!!!!

As series 2 comes to a close the boys at the Full Force celebrate 100,000+ overall downloads and listens since they began the show!! They delve into the Wolverine's different guises and it's drivers in the Figure Review, Erik 'Chico Rodrigues' Arana delivers a superb 'Hunter' in the Mexican Boss Fight Builds and Justin Bell gives us all of the news hot of the General's Joes presses!! With series 3 around the corner (this means nothing to anybody but Chris) we wonder what the future holds for these three amigos......no we don't!! FULL FORCE!!

Happy New Year Full Forcers!! In this episode, Dave, Eddie and Chris are joined by special guest presenter, Steve Dawson and the What's On Joe Mind crew consisting of Gary Godsoe, Mike Irizarry, Justin Bell and Bernard....Brian....Joe Colton!! This rather large team of specialists navigate their way through the best news stories, figures, vehicles and comics of 2015 as well as covering the Q-Force Swordfish in the Figure Review and From The Vault. On top of all that, the regulars discuss their favourite 3 items picked up in 2015 during the What We Got In segment. Take a trip down mammary lane with the boys (and girl) but make sure you have a lift back..........FULL FORCE!!

Look, I know what you are thinking. First, what took so long? Second, if they didn't do the stupid football show this would have been done by now. Well, to answer your question, first, Gary's available editing time has decreased and second, you are correct, but Gary can only edit one show at a time!  However, regardless of it all, it is here now, the long lost, but not forgotten, WOJM review of JoeCon 2015!  This was recorded WAY back in April of 2015, just a few days after all of us got back from JoeCon.  Our voices were still hoarse and some of us were still recovering from the dreaded "con crud."  So, if you heard our Loveland special edition and you are still on the fence about coming to JoeCon 2016, have a listen to this day by day and moment by moment reaccounting (is that a word??) of the big weekend.  Enjoy!

You will be thrilled to know that we have 2 full episodes in the can and one is in the process of being edited.  We hope to have that out in the next couple of weeks.  We have some big changes in store and we'll clue you in when the time is right.  Thanks all!
The Outpost dominate the Teal Ninjas to win the 2015 edition of the WOJM FFL.  Justin Bell's New England Tacos are now known as the Chuck-o's as they FINALLY "win" the last place "honor".  Will Mike and Gary ever let him live it down?  Of course not.  The Seattle Dreadnok's owner (and Sunbow voice of Zartan) Zack Hoffman, joins us in the virtual studios to talk about his first fantasy football experience.  We have a great conversation about football, the Seahawks (of course), and we make our predictions on who will make Super Bowl 50.  Thanks to all those who played this year.  We'll see you next August for the next season of the WOJM FFL!!
Regular editions of WOJM will resume very very soon starting with a long lost special edition.  Be looking for it!
