Episode 7: What’s on JOE Mind?

Careful what you wish for... The team laments that on Friday they had nothing to talk about and then come record time, they had to cut out segments so the podcast would not turn into a 3 hour marathon. Regardless, you are in for 1hr and 45 minutes of wall-to-wall Joe news. Leading off with an interview of the ELITE WARRIOR (aka Numbers) from the website Ages 25 & Up, the team discusses the GI Joe 2 casting of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the latest two additions to the CanJoeCon set - Valkyrie and Traceroute, the results from the latest round of the Hasbro Q&A, Renegades, and the "last" wave of the Pursuit of Cobra vehicles. All this and more in this super sized and BotCon FREE edition of What's on JOE Mind!

Hi guys, Just heard podcast 7. Great show. I’m really enjoying them and these casts are becoming my weekly shot of comedy after a hard 5 days working Wal-Mart overnights. I just want to comment on the statements that were made about finding joe figures on shelves. Its unreal how hard it is here in Canada. As I remember it was hard to get the 25th anniversary line unless you went to Toy’s R Us. It wasn’t until the Rise of cobra line came out that that we got saturated with most of the product except with a few wal-mart exclusives I never even seen like the temple two-pack with snake-eyes and Storm Shadow and the Roadblock /Scrap-Iron two pack. Lately though with waiting on POC waves 3 and 4 , so far have been non-existent. At the Wal-Mart I work at we did get abundance of the line which included Low-light , but since then almost ZIP. I have since resorted to purchasing sets via sites like Smalljoes.com.

Just also a quick comment on the idea of the rock playing roadblock, I think the producers are just following the lead Hasbro already did by incorporating Sgt. Slaughter and Rowdy Piper into the “family” Its a natural step and since perhaps Sarge might be considered too old to even play a cameo in the next film , having Dwayne Johnson there to fill that Joe- wrestling connection void. I say “bring it”

    Thanks, Ryan!

I feel for you Canadian guys, even if you will be getting Ashiko and the HISS Scout! Karma must be paying you guys back.

I agree with your thoughts on the Rock. I think he’ll fit in just fine.

    Thanks for listening!
