WOJM 120: A Confirmed Six Inches
Sunday Jan 19, 2020
Sunday Jan 19, 2020
Mike and Joe welcome former Hasbro marketing lead Mark Weber and YouTube's HCC788, Bryan Lower, to discuss the biggest story in G.I. Joe since the announcement of Snake-Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins... the upcoming release of a 1:12 scale action figure line! We confirmed this news with three individual, independent sources, so if it's a put-on, it's a really big one. Be sure to catch all the discussion in a truly loaded news segment!
Plus, Joe gets a rare second appearance from a would-be paramour from Losertown and the gang learns of her love of giraffe-patterned camouflage, as well as Mike's intense dislike of Mercer. It's great to see G.I. Joe back in the news again

With Carson still away from the microphone due to his recent wedding, Mark Weber returns to hosting for the second consecutive regular episode! In this episode, news about the upcoming G.I. Joe movie is discussed, Hasbro's struggles in finding a home for its animation studio are noted, the most recent flood of Postsac letters are cleared, and the gang teams up to give Bobby Vala's Action Force Kickstarter one last... well, kick. Also, Mike struggles with pronunciation, Joe finds an issue with "Man's Best Friend," and Mark continues to hide from Tim Roberts! It's equal parts madcap fun and honest-to-goodness GI Joe discussion in the Wonderful WOJM Way!

Episode 83: What’s on JOE Mind?
Friday Jul 12, 2013

It's been a month in the making! Thanks for the wait. We have one a heck of a show for this episode. In the first half, we actually have some VINTAGE discussion talking about our favorite figure and vehicle from 83 (and 82). We will do this every episode from here on out until we get to 94 and then we will figure something else out! HA! After our discussion, we jump to a pre-recorded interview with GI Joe Field Manual co-author Jim Sorenson. In the second half, Jay Hunger (from that hack geeky podcast) joins Gary as they talk to Billy Cooper of the Indy Toy and Comic Expo as WOJM will be recording live from their show in July! After the interview we dip into the mailbag to read a letter from one of our regular listeners detailing the similarities and differences of JoeCon v. BotCon. In the news we celebrate Jon Chu helming GI Joe 3, they review - once again - the SDCC Joe exclusives, they discuss the new Regular Joes Podcast and wrap it up with talk about the new wave of Retaliation Joes arriving. It's a pieced together episode that totals almost 3 hours of content...and a woman on it to boot. How could you NOT listen now, right? Oh, and don't forget to listen to our new spin off, The Full Force!
