Rough day, eh? Kinda ironic this is all happening, AGAIN, and it's on Groundhog Day Eve. I feel like we've all been here before. Well, maybe we can take some of the ease off with this Lost Episode. It has been a while since we've posted a lost episode, so let us fill you in on what they are. From time to time we are asked to record a segment for another show. Since we put the same amount of effort into a 10 minute show as we would a 90 minute show, we toss the file into the media archives to use when a rainy day occurs. Well, this is one of those types of days. So for those of you who braved the F5 world today, we present to you, from the archives, our submission to the GeekCast Radio Network's 2012 Year In Review episode. Please visit our friends at GeekCastRadio.com, and say hi to TFG.I.Mike for us! He's GI Joe's #1 fan! Again, this was published with special permission from the GCRN. Thanks Steve!
As you know we have Craig on from The Fwooshcast all the time. He's almost like our "5th Beatle", albeit an Aussie. So when Craig asks if we can do a special bit for him and his show, you KNOW we'll answer the call with a full production 20 minute mini episode.
We were asked: "What was your best, worst, and most surprising figures of 2011 and what are you looking most forward to toy-wise in 2012?"
We recorded this WAY back toward the beginning of the year, so the content is a little old, but unless you heard it on the Year-in-Review edition of The Fwooshcast, it will be somewhat new to you. Consider this a little bonus for being so patient for episode 45.
About a month ago we were asked to record a special segment for the Geek Cast Radio Network's Year in Review show. How could we resist, right? Originally we were asked to have each host list their Top 5 and Bottom 5 GI Joe moments from 2011. Well, since we REALLY like to talk and go into in-depth discussions on our topics, to have basically a Top 20 and Bottom 20 list would be a little too much. It would have turned into a 5 hour marathon and Gary would have been crushed from post production. So we pooled our picks together and came up with a group consensus Top 5 and Bottom 5. Now, we repeat some of what we talked about in Episode 35, but we touch on other topics too so we keep the content fresh. Anyways, we had fun and we hope you enjoy it. We thank the GCRN for allowing us to be involved in their program!
