Episode 73: What’s on JOE Mind?
Sunday Feb 17, 2013
Sunday Feb 17, 2013
The guys are back, surviving Winter Storm Nemo and Toy Fair. Before jumping into the coverage, we play our pre-recorded interview of the Renegades voice of Ripcord, Khary Payton. We talk to him about Renegades, Aqualad AND his voice roles in Metal Gear Solid and The Sims (yes, that is right, The Sims). Following the interview we replay the audio presentation of the Hasbro Toy Fair presentation concerning GI Joe. Following the break, we jump into a Mike-less mailbag answering some speculation questions on JoeCon and a Legendary letter from one noted Legendary listener. In the news, JoeDeclassified and JoeCustoms is having the mother-of-all customs contest with a grand prize that is truly priceless. Marauder John starts another Kickstarter campaign and at the time of the recording, we ALREADY successful, but you should contribute anyway, especially if you gave the first time around! Hot Toys tries to make poor Joe fans even more poor with pre-orders of their 12" Retaliation Storm Shadow. Speaking of poor Joe fans, BBTS puts their Marauders 7 pack on sale, so buy 'em up! Wanna free watch featured in the Retaliation film, the guys will tell you where to enter. Speaking of Retaliation, the viral marketing campaign is in full swing, do you have what it takes? Lastly, lengthy coverage of the GIJCC's 12" Comrade of Action and JOECON registration (which at the time of this recording as well was still open, but we had an idea it would be closing soon). All of this, dramatically and non-comedic-ally read by Ted Bastard (aka Chuck doing a very bad impersonation of Ted Baxter). Following that possible train wreck, we review Toy Fair once again, and predictably, Chuck goes fan boy for no reason whatsoever on the newly revealed Eaglehawk. We replay a clip from the ModeratelyGeeky podcast, which former guest of the show George, reads a monolog on WHY Joe fans will not like the Eaglehawk - and Chuck falls right into that hole as we expected. Mike is not here this week, but he makes his presence known. Thanks to Jay for stepping in again. We hope you enjoy this jammed packed show!

Episode 72: What’s on JOE Mind?
Saturday Feb 02, 2013
Saturday Feb 02, 2013
This is a bit of minor milestone episode. It is our 100th combined episode we have recorded, produced and published! While we still have a long way to go for our 100th regular episode, these milestones don't come often and there is no guarantee we will be around for Episode 100 so we give thanks and mark the occasion nevertheless. This episode we are joined by Ed Lydon, the handchosen (by Chuck) winner of the FOC logo contest. Standing in for Justin, who was under the weather, is CardedHeroes.com Jay Hunger. Included in this episode is a very cool interview we had with Andrew Kishino, the Renegades voice of Storm Shadow. Learn how he had to act against a character who didn't speak and hear Justin bust his chops for being a Giants fan. Ryan Costello, aka Scramble from JoeCanuck and the Canadian JoeCon shares with us a new segment he's doing for us called Collectors Connection. Its interesting! You don't want to miss it. In the second half, we read your emails about your favorite WOJM memories from our previous 100 combined episodes. Oddly, most have to do with our Kevin Michael Richardson interview or Chuck melting down. Both EXCELLENT choices in our opinion. In the news, all 15 figures of the 2013 JoeCon set are revealed. You will get your Justin Bell-free thoughts. We are also excited to report that PRODUCT of all types ARE ON THE SHELVES! Retaliation Wave 2 singles, Retaliation Wave 2 3-packs, Micro Force, Kre-o's and the running changes of the Basic Assortment figures (aka Dollar General Joes). Also in the news is a LOT of movie news...well, more movie news than we are normally used to since May. So all in all, it is a jam packed show. Its awesome, and you know its awesome because we talk about Suzanne Pleshette...I mean, when was the last time ANYONE mentioned anything about Suzanne Pleshette - on a GI Joe podcast no less. Enjoy #100 in a style only we do things!

Episode 71: What's on JOE Mind?
Tuesday Jan 22, 2013
Tuesday Jan 22, 2013
At just over 3 hours, this epic clocks in as our second longest episode ever. It's hard to believe we've never done a 3 hour podcast before, but you asked for it, therefore, you got it. MOAR WOJM! Think of it as a 3 course meal. Your appetizer is a marathon interview with Distinguished Author, Mark Bellomo. We cover things from the short comings of the hobby today and even dive into a little Monster High - not that we went in depth on that one, but is was brought up to prove a point. From Toys to Education, we cover it all with Mark. Before the main course, we cleanse your pallet with a trip into the mail bag and a review of the Vintage, 30th Pre-Prod and 30th Retail versions of the Skystriker from our man Shogi. In your main course, we deliver you hearty portions of community news covering FSS Shipment #1, the Shooter Kickstarter Project, Hot Toys, Retaliation and a roundtable discussion concerning the GIJCC Newsletter. If you are not full yet, Chuck awards the winner in the FOC logo contest and we are joined by WOJM FFL Champion Dan Uthman all episode long as he hangs out with us as a Special Guest. There is a little something here for everyone. So, for the next 3 hours (or next 3 lunch hours) enjoy as the news drought begins to end and the run to Retaliation and Indianapolis begins! For those who aren't into the Fantasy Football, our big Fantasy League wrap up with our Champion Dan runs from 02:36:30 to 02:49:23. Yes, its a lengthy segment, but Dan has certainly earned his time in the sun to speak his mind, so we let him...and our witty banter rip with this last football segment of the 2012-2013 football season. Does it mean we're done talking Football....NO! We still need to pester Justin about his Patriots choking in big games, AND we have March Madness right around the corner. We'll still talk sports, but we will be doing a little less of it for the upcoming future. Besides, there is Toy Fair, Retaliation, JoeCon, the FSS and new toys coming out, so we will have PLENTY to talk about! We can't wait!!

Episode 70: What’s on JOE Mind?
Tuesday Dec 25, 2012
Tuesday Dec 25, 2012
It is an extended episode of WOJM as we review the year that was 2012 and preview the upcoming 12 months with high hopes of a big year. However, before we get to that we have a very special holiday treat to share with you, an interview with the Sunbow voice of Flint, Bill Ratner. Jumping into the news, the FSS has launched, The GIJCC annouces a second run of JoeCon 2012 sets, USA Today looks at IDW's new Special Missions title, JoeCon will be in Indy, Amazon lowers 4-packs to crazy levels, Chuck thinks wrestling rumors concerning Retaliation is legit, and Hot Toys gets a Retaliation license! Whew...so much for slow news, eh? For the year in review, we remember the first of the Retaliation toys to hit, the uncovering of the "Dollar General" Joes, Retaliation gets delayed, and WOJM experiences some major growth. In the 2013 preview, we talk about our excitement for the film (still) and whether or not we will see it in 3D. Further we bat around the possibilities of the 2013 JoeCon set, IDW's "relaunch" of the main comic and briefly talk about Kre-O's Even though we are posting this ON Christmas Day, we go over a Holiday Buying guide in the event you need ONE MORE Joe gift to buy for that decerning fellow collector of yours. Lastly, we talk about those we lost in 2012, crown the Best Chuck Moment of 2012, get the lowdown from the Fantasy Football Desk and we wrap it with our regular "What we got in..." and "Shout Outs" segment. We hope you enjoy the show! Thanks for helping us make 2012 the best year for WOJM yet! See you in 2013! Listener Note: The WOJM FFL wrap up runs from 02:09:30 to 02:16:52

Episode 0.5: What's on JOE Mind?
Wednesday Nov 14, 2012
Wednesday Nov 14, 2012
Feels like the very first time, eh? Yes, this is a remixed and remastered version of our original pilot episode published WAY back in April of 2011. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't seem that long ago, but when you dive into its topic matter, it seems almost like another time and another place. What was the big topic of the day? SKYSTRIKERS...yeah, that's right, Hasbro just announced the price point for the 30th Anniversary re-release of our favorite Jet. What else was hot in the news at the time? How about Hasbro taking a big financial hit in its quarterly reports? Feeling a loss at the Concept Case at JoeCon '12? Well, don't forget about the concept presentation from JoeCon '11. Excited for Retaliation figures now? How about Pursuit of Cobra wave 6 then? Oh yeah, and how about 3 absolute strangers getting together to record the first, in what turned out to be, longest running Joe podcast to date. Why is this coming out now? You'll find out in Special Edition #20...but you need to listen to this first. It's isn't that much better than the original, but its shorter and hopefully the pain will be less too. So kick that flux capacitor into action and let's travel back in time to our first ever show!

Episode 69: What's on JOE Mind?
Tuesday Nov 13, 2012
Tuesday Nov 13, 2012
It's election night in America...or it was when we recorded this episode in a time capsule. Boy, a lot has sure happened since we've last hear from the Terrific Treo and Chuck. Half the football season is over, we have a new baseball champion, basketball has started, hockey has...well, no one really seems to notice hockey missing, and we've had a Superstorm roll through the east coast. Because of this mega storm, we had quite ths diffcult task of keeping the show running and the audio is clean. We are pretty sure Arune got in trouble with the new wife because it sounded like he had KP Duty assigned to him in the second half of the show. *Sigh*...yeah, it was one of those shows, but its two plus hours for those of you who have been missing your WOJM "fix." This episode we have not one but two interviews of notice. First we are joined by Fred Van Lente, the new writer for IDW's GI Joe title. After hearing him, you'll trust along with us that the franchise is in very capable hands. Following the interview with Fred, we went back in time to listen to a pre-recorded interview that we did with RJ from CobraStickers.com. We were joined by Kevin Watts on that interview, so who knows what new colorful lexicons he will add to our show FAQ. I do believe this time it includes a bag a phallus-es. Yeeeah, it was one of those interviews, but don't miss it never the less!! After the break we go into the mailbag to check on Justin's status of collecting votes for the Hasbro Concept Case we saw at JoeCon. From another letter, we get the low down on life in NYC with Chuck and Arune post SUPERSTORM. We also have a letter ask us our thoughts about a live-action Joe television show. In the news, the awaited for Kre-o debate is held. It might surprise you our thoughts on this new line that has a lot of the fandom excited. We rehash the new IDW teams and briefly mention the GI Joe Complete Collection #1 from friend of the program Mark Bellomo is now on Amazon. In movie news, there is a "new" trailer. The PR machine is getting in gear. Rounding out the news, the fandom came out strong and supported Marauder John's Kickstarter campaign (as heard in Episode 68). Bravo everyone! The WOJM FFL bit runs from 02:03:00 to 02:10:15 - yeah, its more time than previous episodes, but we had more ground to cover! NEXT, it's CONTEST TIME!! Thanks to Mike and Kevin, we now have a name for all those who are Friends of Chuck (aka FOC'ers). We now need a logo. So if you have artistic skills, create a logo for The Friends of Chuck. Chuck (aka The Head FOC'er) will pick the winner. Please send submissions as a JPG to whatsonjoemind@gmail.com. Third place will get a piece of Robert Atkins artwork; Second place will get a Renegades figure prize pack; FIRST PLACE will get a prize pack AND will appear with us as a guest host of WOJM in a future episode! Yes, that's right, you can call Chuck a FOC'er, right to his face!! Lastly, to all those who have been effected by the hurricane, we send our best thoughts and wishes out to you. We hope life gets back to normal for you as soon as possible. To everyone else, we hope you enjoy this long awaited for, time capsule episode 69 of WOJM! SPOILER ALERT: Obama wins...just sayin'...

Wednesday Oct 10, 2012
Wednesday Oct 10, 2012
WE FINALLY GOT HIM! That's right, we captured ourselves a real marauder, a gun runner so to speak. That's right, after 90 plus combined episodes, WOJM finally gets to sit down and talk with the famous Marauder John of Marauder, Inc. We dive deep into his mysterious past to hear about how he started gun running and why. We also learn about the future of Marauder, Inc. with his ongoing Kickstarter Project and Campaign. We are excited to bring this interview to you, it has been a year in the making! In the second half of the program, we are joined by super substitute host AND Noted Author, James Kavanaugh. We also have Dave Draiper from Toy World Order join the ranks to add commentary to our mailbag and news. For the first time in a while, we had a packed news schedule. The GIJCC released their October newsletter. The fellas at Roll Out Roll Call unveil one of their show customs for 2013. Robert Atkins shows off some more awesome Joe artwork on his blog. Justin reviews some of the Retaliation W2 3 pack figures. Hasbro says they will be at NYCC in some capacity. Plenty of stuff to keep this episode timely...somewhat. For you non sporting members of the fandom, yes we do talk about sports again, but if you wish to skip it, you can fast forward from the 1:30:38 mark to 1:35:38 mark. LASTLY... Don't forget, help the man who helps us. Open your wallets and piggy banks most generously and give to the Marauder GR Kickstarter Project and Campaign. It doesn't matter how much you give - $1, $2, $5, $25, $50, $100, $200, or more...just as long as you GIVE. The project is worthy and the rewards alone are WORTH your consideration. Help shape the future of our hobby and the future of gun running, contribute to the project and campaign TODAY. Oh and don't forget, mention the podcast to him when buying your next purchase from him and receive a free item!! Let MJ know you heard him on WOJM!! Thanks!! :)

Its a full disclosure episode. What has the gang been up to since the last episode? We fill you in. Joining us in the first half for an interview...well, we recorded it a little bit ago is Andrew and Trina. Both have worked with Hasbro on the GI Joe brand in one form or another over the last 5 or so years. Hear what it is like behind the scenes at Hasbro and learn there is more to getting a figure getting to market then pouring plastic into a mold. In the news, the GIJCC store is OPEN FOR BUSINESS, INCLUDING the launching of the FSS! Sgt. Slaughter spills the beans of a rumor about his character being involved in the early drafts of Retaliation. Sideshow has a Storm Shadow statue. A character is born for Star Wars Clone Wars based off of Snake Eyes. After the news we are joined by Jon Cremeans from the COIL Club to talk about the 3rd Annual COIL Con at Kokomo Toys in Kokomo, Indiana. BUT FIRST, onto the episode featuring the man that brings Larry Hama's script to life in the IDW GI Joe A Real American Hero comic, SL Gallant. In the news we preview the then upcoming Canadian JoeCon, discuss ROUND 2 - FIGHT of GeneralsJoes.com {cha-ching!} JoeCon Concept Case Survey and we reach back into the 70's to revive The Match Game to have a little fun with Justin and his excitement over Renegades coming out on Blu Ray. After hearing a little more about the Open Your Toys Cast, we dip into the mailbag to answer some of your questions before moving on to halftime. After the break, listener of the program, Nathan, gives a review of IDW Cobra #13. In the news, we talk about the new Sideshow female figurine, the lastest Canadian JoeCon news INCLUDING the reveal and RETURN of BLACK ICE!! Episode 63: What's on JOE Mind?
Tuesday Jul 24, 2012
Tuesday Jul 24, 2012
As shows go, this one truly shaped up to be a very interesting one. The first half is jam packed with three complete interview segments. First we talk to Wayne Losey and Tucker Johnson from Go, Go, Dynamo! Wayne and Tucker are two of the talents that brought us Sigma Six and now are using their expertice in the 8" arena to start up another 8" line, right now called, The Hero Project. The Hero Project consists of World Cultural Heroes as 8" action figures with all of the pose and playability that your favorite Sigma Six figures had. Wayne and Tucker also answer questions concerning their time on the Sigma line and drop us a tiny tidbit about a certain Sigma dropship possibly having a 3.75" seat tooled for it. Interesting, right? Well, if you like what you hear about the Hero Project, GIVE, and GIVE GENEROUSLY to their Kickstarter fund - http://hero.gogodynamo.com. In segment 2, friend and sponsor of the program Mike Heddle (aka The Mike) pays us a visit to talk about the upcoming Canadian Joe Con (Aug 10 & 11 @ the Toronto Airport Sheraton) and find out what previous Canadian Con execlusive is making his grand return in modern era construction! In segment 3, Steven, Rob and Paul from the Johnannesburg, South Africa based GI Joburg podcast join us (truthfully, they've been on and participated the whole time) to talk about their show, state of the hobby, and the hurdles they face to keep their hobby alive way down at the southern tip of Africa. In the news...well, there wasn't much news. Sideshow reveals a new Major Bludd and Baroness figures at SDCC - Gary laments of a lack of Snow Job. Hasbro answered some Joe site questions at SDCC, some new stuff is revealed, other stuff is a review. Yeah, that's the news. We wrap up with a lengthy shout out segment before bidding our new South African friends good bye. Please please please, pardon the audio. Trust us, we know, it's not the best. Between bad mics, international internet routing and having as many as 10 people connected to the same call, it could have gone a whole lot worse. Sometimes the bandwidth gods are with you and sometimes they are against you, so apologies in advance. We want to thank ALL of our guest for their patience and participation in the show. We hope all of you enjoy the program!

Monday Jul 16, 2012
As Justin says, "Hot Damn!" After a whirlwind weekend in NOLA and a justified and well earned week-off rest (yes Chuck, those of us who WORK on the podcast need a rest), we're back. As one con coverage comes to the end, another one is just getting started (and it ended since we recorded, but we digress...) as our focus briefly turns to the left coast and San Diego for SDCC. Our good buddy Arune Singh from Marvel Comics joins us and if his new theme/love song from Chuck doesn't scare him off, we may be in store for some decent comic-level discussion from the biggest comic show of them all!! As a side note, be sure to give us feedback on Arune's Theme...Justin, Mike and Gary want to be sure that it isn't JUST THEM who are tone impaired. Anyway, have a listen to what Arune and Marvel have in store for SDCC and how it may relate to Joe fans. Some of the info Arune gave us was time sensitive and Gary was a little lazy this week, so thus the late posting. After Arune, we are joined by Mo Hunger from CardedHeroes.com. You may remember Mo from our Ladies Night Episode as she Stumped the Chuck in Trivia. Ah, good times, good times! What you might not remember from Mo is that she is an avid avid Joe comic fan. Whether it is Marvel, DDP or IDW, there are few we'd consider on her level of expertise! Mo joins us to fill us in from the IDW roundtable at JoeCon 2012. We also discuss why the roundtable was so sparely attended and why their table at JoeCon looked so lonely. Fear not, we're here to give IDW love and support!! If you are a comic fan, the first hour of the show is for you. In hour number 2, we wrap up JoeCon by reviewing once more the Hasbro Concept Case and upcoming/proposed Hasbro Concept Fan Vote. We also review and wrap up the GIJCC's news concerning Iceberg, FSS v2.0, and the security status of the club website and shopping cart. Both discussions on Hasbro and the GIJCC lead into our final thoughts and wrap up of JoeCon 2012 and when we might be seeing each other next in 2013. In the news...well, there wasn't much news, but what news there was centered on the 2012 Canadian Joe Con in Toronto with the reveal of 3 figures and a vehicle with a familiar bling to it. We wrap up this show with a bow of what we got in and shout outs before being led out with our buddy James's Theme...which is a lot more appropriate. Anyway folks, thanks for your patience and we hope it was worth the wait!! Enjoy!

It's live, its raw and its unedited. You haven't heard a recording this unpolished from us since early on in our run...but as travel itenaries would have it, we're in no position to edit this week. As promised is a rare behind the scenes "look" of our show. Now you can really see how much work goes into showrunning, planning and editing. We cover some SDCC news from Hasbro and Sideshow, we get the first word from Canada about the Canadian JoeCon and a browsing of the GIJCC JoeCon schedule. Then it was off to our recommended episodes you'd like to hear on your way to and from New Orleans. Lastly, its shout outs and what we got in....and we're out. See you all in NOLA! Travel safe!! FINALLY!? What took so long? Well, getting ready for JoeCon of course! Still, this is a good one to listen to while in the car or in the plane on your way to New Orleans. Louisiana native and Moderately Geeky Podcast co-host Jason Reddoch (aka southzen in the online community) joined the show to give us the low down on enjoying a good time in The Big Easy. From the best watering holes, where to get a good meal and the time to and from the airport, he covers just about everything a con goer needs to know. Jason stuck around afterwards to help us answer a ton of email, including several that were collecting mold at the bottom of Der Post Sack. Proof once again, WOJM will EVENTUALLY get to reading all of your mail, like a good show should. In the news, final letters were sent out for JoeCon, The SyFy GI Joe game goes beta, and we catch a peek at the W2 3-pack figures. Lastly, this show could not end without giving Chuck his birthday gift. We were all set to get him a male stripper, but then we found out that he was turning 14, so we had to come up with a Plan B. What was it? Stay tuned! It's the start of a back-to-back-to-back-to-back JoeCon week of WOJM episodes. Are you ready?

Sunday Jun 17, 2012
Sunday Jun 17, 2012
This week we invited Toy News International (TNI) staffer and Vice President of the Crappy Figure Brigade (CFB) Don Anderson to the show. And, if it sounded like Gary and Don knew each other for a long time, they do. Gary and Don met WAY back at the San Francisco convention in 2003. We talk a little about the mega toy and entertainment community site TNI and how the fledgling 3.75" collectors back in the day started the CFB. What is the CFB? How can you be a part of the CFB? When do they meet? What do they do? All those questions and many more are bandied about. From the mailbag we get a duo of comic questions, a proposal about a "Hasbro Universe" and two questions about JoeCon, including someone wanting to know, "What's a parachute drop?" The cast and our guest set the records straight. In the news, JoeCon registration is over, Mark Bellomo is coming to NOLA, the GIJCC says bring more cash to con, Wave 6 launches from Marauder John, keep your Retaliation cash, Renegades Pt 2 confirmed with BLU-RAY and official SDCC Joe product images. So much to talk about! However, if we miss something of interest you, email us at whatsonjoemind@gmail.com because in TWO weeks we will have a heavy listener mail episode on the eve of our JoeCon coverage in a very special "live" and behind the scenes episode of WOJM. Until then, you fathers take full advantage of Father's Day and sit back, relax and listen to this one...and before you know it, JoeCon will be here!!

Saturday Jun 09, 2012
Saturday Jun 09, 2012
In this episode we invite George and Travis from the Moderately Geeky podcast to join us for an important podcast announcement for JoeCon. 3/4ths of the MG hosts will be joining Mike, Justin and Gary in New Orleans to cooperatively cover the show from Thursday to Sunday. Aside from George we will be joined by MG co-host Jason and MG lead host Jay Hunger. Now you have heard George before, but maybe you are unaware of the capacity you have heard him here. However, his wife Karen was among the female guests we had in Special Edition #8. Jason's wife was also part of this show and quite possibly had some of the best on-liners in our show's history. Of course, you all should know Jay as the admin of CardedHeroes.com and and one of our substitute staffers that you hear from time to time. George, Jason and Jay are long time friends of ours going WAY back to '04, so getting to work with them to bring you con coverage is a real treat. We hope you enjoy what we can bring you while in NOLA. With that announcement out the way, we moved on to the mailbag where we answer some JoeCon questions concerning payment methods for registration/package pick up night and what is the difference between early and late registration. After a very early intermission, its into the news to talk about Justin's scoop with Jon M. Chu concerning the Retaliation delay. From the club we report on what is/or is NOT available for JoeCon sets and figures. The latest on the "Dollar General," Robert Atkins and The Rock round out the news. After, we choose to have a little fun and honor former Family Feud host, Richard Dawson, so we played The Family Feud: Stump Chuck edition. You got to listen to the hilarity ensue AND Chuck finally melts down and spouts off with some really bad put downs. However, Chuck makes no secret of his love of spunk. Its a quick episode, and much like Chuck is with the ladies, this one is over in a blink of an eye. Hope you don't mind.

Gee...what news happened in the last week that we could POSSIBLY talk about?? Hmmm... Well, we asked and you delivered. You filled our meager voice mailbox to the rim with your thoughts and concerns about the Paramount delay of GI Joe Retaliation. With no guests scheduled this week, it gave the four hosts ample time to focus on The Famdom in Crisis and the latest JoeCon news, INCLUDING registration - FINALLY, and its official folks, 3 of your dynamic 4 will be at JoeCon so we look forward toward meeting some of you who listen every week! AND...OF COURSE, Hasbro breaks news on Wednesday on the official status of movie Waves 2 and 3. Come on guys, we record on Tuesdays, get with it! The second half of the program is your voicemails. Everyone who called in was remarkably calm and well behaved which says a lot about the quality of the fans in the community. Be sure to stay through to the very end of the recording to hear the ALL the voicemails that were left with us. Yet another week closer to JoeCon. The news lately may have been a major bummer, but there is a lot of good stuff still to come, so download and have a listen!

Episode 56: What's on JOE Mind?
Monday May 28, 2012

This almost seems like one of those "remember when" episodes. Hey, remember how WOJM was before the movie got pushed back 9 months? Remember how Gary used to count down the days until its release? Well, at the time of this recording, our ignorance of what would happen in the next 18 hours is bliss and we gleefully report on the news with no idea that the biggest Joe news story of the year thus far was about to stare us in the face. Regardless, it is a good show featuring friend of the program Gary Head who talks to us about what will be appearing at the JoeDeclassified.com booth at JoeCon. Old friend, Arune Singh, from Marvel Comics jumps in to share in the fun. From DER POST SACK, we answer mail about JoeCon t-shirt availability, a report from the Corpus Christi meet, and a listener suggests changes to Horrorshow to make him look more "bulky". In the second half, we get a listener review from LordEd about the 2010 Vacation in the Shadows comic. In the news, former WOJM guest, Neil Ross, is a JoeCon guest. We talk about how cool the 12" set is and Justin reports on the latest from the GI Joe: Special Ops game. So have a last listen of how it was before "the big announcement." Be sure to listen all the way to the end past the music for a small announcement from Gary.

What happens when Justin misses a show? Well, we tend to have awesome interviews with voice actors. So when Justin told us he would be missing this week's show, we knew our interview would be a blast! Joining us this week is Neil Ross, or otherwise known as the Sunbow voice of Shipwreck! We talk to Neil for an hour about his many works - past and present. Right before halftime, Shogi Scott reviews many of the souviner JoeCon exclusives from 2010. In the second half, we start off with the mailbag and answer another JoeCon question, talk about Sideshow and our thoughts on the Operation Bear Trap set, and we get a text message from Chuck's sister Barbra. In the news we talk about the final reveals of the 2012 3.75" JoeCon set, once again we mention that the JoeCon Brochure is out, local Filipino GI Joe collector group, TS118 will be setting up displays and dioramas in the lobby of many movie theaters in the Philippines to help promote the hobby to new fans. Retaliation and "Dollar Store" figures are the topic of discussion in our wrap up segment. A few of the guys got their hands on early stuff, so hear what the guys thought of the new movie toys. Its an exciting time to be a fan! Sit back, and enjoy this double-nickle edition of WOJM!
