It was an epic record night as we watched the start of the monumental final 24 hours of the Boss Fight Studio Kickstarter campaign. We also include in this program an interview with GI Joe voice talent, Michael Dobson and get his impressions of JoeCon. Speaking of JoeCon, we are also joined by JoeCon regular Kirk Bozigian as shares some memories of working with the late Don Levine, also known as the father of GI Joe. Lastly, after regular news and mailbag segments, we are surprised by the Boss Fight crew and we get their opinions of what the last 39 days have been like and what is next for Vitruvian HACKS. OK, we admit it, we are friends, fans and huge shills for our buddies at Boss Fight Studios. Since their Kickstarter campaign launched, we've done nothing but talk about these guys. Rightfully so! They are a very talented group of artists who worked on our favorite brand and we want to see them do well away from the corporate shackles. They are fans just like us trying to live the dream! The great part is, even you can help! Have a spare dollar? Maybe a spare $30? How about a spare $100 or more? EVERY DOLLAR AND EVERY BACKER TO THE CAMPAIGN COUNTS! It is a safe investment as the initial funding level has been met, but don't let that deter you from pitching in! Now, sometimes these Kickstarter things are a little bit difficult to understand. How do I contribute my money? Is it secure? Do they take my money now? What are the different contribution levels? What are stretch goals? Learn all about these questions and more in this special edition. Pardon in advance on some of the audio breaking up. We were stretching the bandwidth to its limits. However, settle in as we discuss their project (and have some fun at Chuck's expense) over the next hour. Bill Ratner is BACK! Yes, the man you know as Flint has BLOWN up lately. You can hear his voice on commercials from cars to cookies. Despite being a most awesome guest, he holds GI Joe near and dear to his heart. You can catch him next at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, June 18-21 and 25-28 performing LIVE and ON STAGE: The True Life Adventures of Barbie and GI Joe. What has Flint gotten himself into THIS time? Also...Arune Singh is BACK! That's right, our good buddy with Marvel Television stops in to talk about how cool (or not cool if you are Gary) a Joe/Transformers crossover would be. Prompted by the new IDW title, Arune thought the time was right to put it up for debate. You might be surprised how the gang reacts. Yes! It was on its deathbed, but it got resurrected. Thanks to some long hours of editing we managed to piece together. The background on this show: well, we recorded this a few weeks before JoeCon. During the recording, the raw files on the primary recording PC basically corrupted. However, as ANY good podcast should be doing, a backup recording was being made. All hail Chuck for saving the day. Unfortunately, the show is now very dated. We had on Kirk Bozigian to tease us about his JoeCon panel and a return visit by Chris Sims, who brought along Chad Bowers to talk about their football themed super hero comic, "Down, Set, Fight". In a further bout of bad fortune, this interview was supposed to air WAY back in Feburary to coincide with the launch of their book. FAIL! We're not pros, but we sure did have a fun time talking about Football, Marvel's NFL Super Pro, MegaForce, Smokey and the Bandit and...GI Joe. Outside of the interviews we were joined by Boss Fight Studio's own, the esteemed Andrew Franks. We've missed the fans, and hopefully you missed this too - enough to listen to an old, nearly lost episode.

In this episode Dave takes us through a timeline of Action Man all the way through to G.I. Joe with some prototypes and design art thrown in for good measure.
